Luxury automotive brand, Genesis, opened its doors to its new showroom in Battersea Power Station at the end of November. To celebrate it hosted a launch event; SOUND, ELECTRIFIED, which saw it stage a DJ booth and live stream powered by an electric car. Guy Piper Architects were commissioned to design and deliver the centrepiece DJ booth which was positioned between two GV60 Cars.

At the VIP event in Shoreditch Grammy-nominated dance music producer and DJ Jayda G and South Korean born DJ Didi Han electrified the decks in the Guy Piper designed DJ booth solely using the vehicle-to-load function of the GV60.

We constructed the DJ booth with CNC cut panels with three circle cut outs to the front and sides. The aluminium semi circles are Inspired by the crystal sphere feature in the car.
